From my father Robert Meeker, who has had an inspiring impact on the local Akron community for over 50 years practicing law, to winning a national championship as a teammate with LeBron James in high school at St. Vincent – St. Mary, I learned what it takes to be successful in your craft.

I have spent my legal career striving for greatness in serving and protecting the rights of the hard-working residents of Akron and the surrounding communities.
My family has a rich history of practicing law in Akron, Ohio, and has been fiercely advocating for the protection of our clients’ rights for centuries. Beginning with my great-great-great grandfather, Sidney Edgerton, who began practicing law in Akron in 1846. Sidney was a passionate abolitionist, who represented John Brown at Harpers Ferry, served in Congress and was later appointed by President Abraham Lincoln, as the first Chief Justice of the Idaho Territory and first Governor of the State of Montana. The history continued with my father, Bob Meeker, when after working as a Summit County Prosecutor for several years, he entered private practice and represented numerous clients in many major criminal and civil cases spanning five decades. After working side by side with my father in his law firm of Blakemore, Meeker & Bowler for 17 years, Meeker Legal was formed to carry on the Meeker name in the legal community for years to come.
I pride my legal practice on building long-term relationships with clients to provide peace of mind and a trusted advisor throughout their lives. I am not an attorney that will only be there when you need me for one issue or one case, but I will be there for the long haul, providing continued legal support and guidance as client’s circumstances evolve. I understand that life has challenges that present themselves in many different scenarios and circumstances, and I strive to understand client’s individual needs, goals, and concerns. I have a comprehensive legal practice, providing legal advice and support to clients in many areas of the law including Accident & Injury, Criminal Defense, Family Law, Litigation and more.
